Dr. Steven G. Clarke / Named '2006 Chiropractor of the Year' By Assoc. of NJ Chiropractors

Dr. Steven Clarke is a licensed Chiropractic Physician in New Jersey since 1983. He has been an integral part of the healthcare of thousands in the Nutley area, and throughout NJ since that time. A lecturer on chronic pain conditions, Dr. Clarke has been an expert witness for numerous court cases as well as speaking to the legal and medical professions. He has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows, been interviewed in newspapers, and has written many articles on healthcare and legislative issues that affect patients in NJ.

Extremely active in the Nutley community and a strong believer in volunteerism, Dr. Clarke serves on his community Board of Health, has served on the Board of Directors for the Nutley Lions Club (formerly President) the local chapter of the American Red Cross, the Nutley Jaycees (formerly President). He received the highest honor for civic service from Nutley Township, the Distinguished Service Award. He was bestowed lifetime privileges and the highest honor from the United States Jaycees for outstanding service to the local & state level organizations. He is the police chiropractor, a member of the EMT and a lifetime member of the NJ State P.B.A. Physician's Association. He was awarded the Nutley PBA "Silver Card" for his service to the Nutley Police Department. He has served on the Nutley Crisis Management Team.

Dr. Clarke is the elected President of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) and was elected by his peers four times to lead and oversee ANJC, the 7th largest chiropractic association in the country. He was the lead doctor in championing legislation approved by the NJ Senate and Assembly then signed by Gov. Jon Corzine in 2010, that modernized the NJ laws that chiropractic physicians practice under. He is the former Chairman of The Board of the New Jersey Chiropractic Society and serves as the Legislative Chairman for the ANJC. He has testified many times at the NJ Statehouse. He is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and the American Chiropractic Society. Along with 2 colleagues, he was among the first chiropractic physicians to get through to Ground Zero in New York after the September 11, 2001 attacks and provide care to injured police, EMS and firefighters.
